Bowater by Birtley is pleased to offer a full array of colours from its in-house paint line, on its wide range of composite doors.
Synseal Group are now offering a price match on like-for-like quotes on their Evolve VS vertical sliding sash window range.
The A+ rated Evolve VS windows come with all of the traditional stylings including elegant run-through sash horns, Georgian bars, sculptured profiles and woodgrain finishes. Vertical sliding windows have become hugely popular with installers in recent years and Synseal has seen a large number of Evolve VS installations being shared on social media in recent months as many homeowners opt for this classic style window to replace both timber vertical sliders and casement windows.
And never has colour been so important as Kevin Kiernan explains: “Property experts have confirmed that an immaculate front door is the key to selling a house. However, the best colour depends on the position of the property. Pastels work best for city dwellings while natural shades should be used in the countryside. Meanwhile, trending colours are bright yellow, pink and turquoise. We already know the importance of colour, but as its placed under the spotlight by property experts, manufacturers need to be in a strong position to deliver.

problems with the original timber windows which needed regular maintenance and repainting – a huge job to undertake on a house with more than 40 window apertures.
“We invested in an in-house paint line so that we have complete control over the delivery of a wide range of colours. We can colour match any specific requirements for the more individual colour projects and where required, we can also colour match the frame to the door. Homeowners
“The Bowater by Birtley range of composite doors is about offering choice so the end user has precisely the door they want, not a compromised version of it. Our in-house paint line, number of door styles and the option of single or dual rebate composites allows us to do just that. Which in turn allows our customers to differentiate from the competition.”
Andy Jones, Group Sales and Marketing Director, said:
“For a house like this that would have had vertical sliders originally, it just felt right to put them back, but in a modern way. So we’ve opted for PVC-U windows with a woodgrain finish. Now the house is always comfortably warm and also quiet, which shows how well insulated the property is since the windows were installed.”

“We have seen some really creative installations with our VS windows including beautiful conversions of heritage properties, benefiting from the modern technology of PVC-U windows but with the look of traditional timber.”
The Evolve VS range is available in a range of colours and woodgrains including Cherrywood and Chartwell Green, all available with dual colour white interior, Astragal or Georgian bars, and a variety of hardware choices including white, gold and chrome.

“Customers will get the benefits of this new certification immediately and while CE Marking isn’t a legal requirement for fire doors at the moment, third party certification is recommended in the Building Regulations. CE Marking for fire doors offers an excellent standard for companies and when it comes into UK law, they will be ahead of their competitors.”
