UK fabricator of high-end home improvement products, Dekko Window Systems, is celebrating a dominant decade in business.
Trojan Manufacturing Group has announced the appointment of Pete Niblock as Key Accounts Manager.
Founded at the tail-end of 2007 by Gary Torr and Kurt Greatrex, Dekko made its name as a reliable trade supplier of high-quality Deceuninck uPVC windows, claiming a larger market share with every passing year thanks to exceptional craftsmanship, a reliable service and fast turnarounds, in particular of foiled products.
aluminium brand in cooperation with Reynaers, and invested in cutting edge Graf Welding technology enabling them to manufacture uPVC frames with seamlessly welded joints - a range they call Infinity.
Pete’s role is focused on new business generation and working with existing key accounts within the Trojan network. Wih over 32 years’ experience in the industry he will be a familiar face to many having worked in a variety of senior roles with well- respected companies.
The eureka moment came when the Greater Manchester firm saw the industry landscape move towards premium products and launched Residence 9, back in 2013 and focused entirely on Deceuninck products and their colour from stock. They quickly grew, prompting them to move from their original 25,000 square foot factory in Bredbury, to an all-new 55,000 square foot factory in Ashton-Under-Lyne.
“It’s been an incredible 10 years” comments Kurt. “Our success comes from seeing consumer tastes shift from white plastic windows towards high-end, luxury home improvements and in turn investing millions of pounds in the business to cater for this market. It’s an area we continue to focus on and we have some exciting developments up our sleeve ready to launch in 2018.”
Pete is delighted to be joining Trojan, saying, “I am pleased to join at such an exciting time. The company is renowned for its product innovation and has recently launched several new products. Having something different to offer the industry makes a refreshing change. I’m looking forward to being part of such a forward thinking company.”
We have worked hard to deliver high levels of support and service to our existing customers and this will continue; Pete’s appointment confirms our commitment to the window and door hardware market and focuses our attention on attracting forward thinking fabricators looking to develop their business by offering high quality and innovative hardware products” states Martin.
Soon after the factory move Dekko launched Räum, the high-end
Dekko will be marking their special anniversary with a customer open day held at their headquarters in the New Year. “The open day will be an opportunity to reveal our new showroom, which will be kitted out with our latest product innovations,” Kurt concluded.
Pete will report directly to Martin Marron, MD, who is equally delighted that Pete is joining the company. “Pete brings a wealth of experience to the business and we are looking forward to working together with both myself and the rest of our team.
Trojan have a reputation for excellence. Pete Niblock’s appointment demonstrates that this excellence attracts high calibre individuals who can add further quality and experience to the company.
