manufacturer was a huge plus for us,” he said. “This way if we ever need any replacements parts or a service it’s easy enough to sort out.”
“The delivery and installation went without a hitch and because of that we wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them to others who might be in the market for new machinery.”
For Trade Frame Manufacturers Ltd this was certainly the case when they stumbled upon Kombimatec at FIT Show 2016 inspiring a working relationship that both parties were excited about.
Providing greater fabrication flexibility than ever before, the 4HDV Four Combination Head Welder comes with individual start buttons for each head that enables the machine to be operated from any head. Essentially two machines in one, it can be used as 4 heads together, 2+2, 3+1 or 1+3.
The company went with the purpose to view the machinery on offer. Impressed with the speed and ease of use of Kombimatec’s machines, it was an easy decision to make.
The EV475 6 Axis CNC Corner, Transom and Cruciform Cleaner has two separate sets of cleaning tools, each with their own independent programmable movements, it can work on both sides of the joint at the same time. When is a fire door not a fire
door?
It’s a serious question that many should be asking when choosing the right fire doors, say the experts from Masterdor, the GRP and engineered timber door specialists owned by Synseal Group.
“Customers can be unsure whether they should be selling a FD30 or FD60 door. That’s why we offer a complete range of GRP and solid, engineered timber products.”
“A fire door is only a fire door if it is installed correctly, with fully tested, fire-rated hardware and frames which meet British Standards,” says Group Sales and Marketing Director, Andy Jones.
The Benchmark fire door range includes six FD30s 44mm GRP fire doors. The Craftsman range includes traditional and contemporary engineered timber styles, available in 44mm thickness for a FD30/FD30s fire door or 54mm thickness for a FD60/FD60s fire door. All doors meet BS 476: part 22 standards and are available with fire-rated hardware which meets Secured by Design requirements, and a Sheerframe 8000 PVC-U frame with steel reinforcement which meets BS EN 1643 criteria for FD30s smoke testing.
“We have seen an increase in enquiries about fire door specification following the tragic Grenfell Tower fire. We get a lot of questions about how to combine the right door with appropriate hardware and frames. Our experts are always more than happy to answer these kinds of questions.
